Need an easy, sugar free chocolate sauce recipe to make at home? This delicious, rich chocolate sauce recipe is keto, low carb and sugar free. It’s perfect to cover ice-cream, cakes, or cookies!

I can’t take credit for this recipe, I only tweaked it slightly. I replaced some of the heavy cream with almond milk and replaced the cocoa powder with Lindt 90% cocoa chocolate.

If I’m going to indulge in rich chocolate treats, I don’t want to worry about the calories I’ll have to burn off! Reducing the heavy cream has made the sauce lower in calories, and replacing the cocoa powder with Lindt 90% cocoa chocolate made the sauce taste a little richer and silkier.

This is the perfect sauce to store in the fridge for those pesky sugar cravings when on a low carb or sugar free diet!

This recipe is great to pour over fresh fruit, brownies, ice-cream or anything else you think of! Enjoy.

Easy Sugar Free Chocolate Sauce



Yield 10 Serves

A delicious, easy and sugar free version of rich chocolate sauce.

This original recipe comes from KetoIsLife, I’ve made a couple of small tweaks which makes it slightly lower in calories. Check out the original too!


  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup low fat pouring cream
  • 100g 90% cocoa chocolate (I use Lindt 90% cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup natvia/swerve


Place all ingredients into a saucepan.

Heat on low stir the mixture constantly with a fork until the chocolate is melted and well combined.

Pour into a glass jar and stand for cooling.

Keep in the refrigerator!

Once cold the sauce will be a smooth thick texture. You can re-heat or eat cold.
